110 Year Anniversary Capsule Collection at Hamilton Jewelers
Hamilton marked its 110th year in 2022 with a short capsule of pieces made in the Princeton workshop. Unlike the bridal collections, these are not styles made to order in several metals. Each is a single handmade piece built around stones the firm set aside for the occasion, and once a piece is sold there is not another. The capsule follows the 1912 and Centennial collections, which marked earlier anniversaries, but it is fine jewelry rather than bridal.
The capsule includes an 18k yellow gold ring with a 1.27 carat blue sapphire center flanked by two rows of multicolored sapphires and diamonds, an 18k rose gold ring with a 12.01 carat oval tanzanite framed by sapphires and diamonds, an 18k white gold bow bracelet channel-set with baguette and round brilliant diamonds, and a platinum necklace built around a 1.71 carat heart-shaped diamond with pear-shaped diamonds along the chain. Carat weights, colors, and clarities are listed on each product page. These suit a significant anniversary or a collector who wants a piece with a date attached. Several of the pieces are large by any measure, including the 12.01 carat tanzanite and the 8.81 carat total weight heart necklace, and each was made by Hamilton's own craftsmen in Princeton. Because the pieces are unique, sizing is done to order.
