Baccarat at Hamilton Home
Baccarat has made crystal in the village of Baccarat, in the Lorraine region of France, since 1764. The manufactory supplied kings and heads of state in the nineteenth century, and its workshops still employ some of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, the country's recognized master craftsmen. The signature is the clarity and weight of the crystal itself, cut with flat bevels or left smooth so light moves through it. The Harcourt glass, introduced in 1841, remains the house's best-known design.
Hamilton Home carries Baccarat across the categories people actually use. There is Harcourt barware and the Harcourt 1841 decanter, Vega martini glasses and Dom Pérignon flutes for the bar, and Octogone and Mille Nuits pieces for the table. The Papillon Lucky Butterfly, in turquoise, pink, blue, amber and iridescent clear, is the gift most often chosen for a birthday or a thank-you. Each year's Zodiac animal arrives in time for the holidays, alongside the Amour hearts, the Little Buddha and the Louxor boxes. Baccarat suits a wedding gift, a milestone anniversary, or the first serious piece for a new home.
Baccarat is best understood in hand, and the full selection is on display in our Princeton and Palm Beach showrooms. Book an appointment and a member of our team will walk you through the patterns, help you build a bar set over time, or add a piece to a registry. Every order is gift wrapped, and we are glad to help you choose when the recipient's taste is a mystery.
