Juliska at Hamilton Home
Juliska was founded in 2001 by Capucine De Wulf Gooding and David Gooding and is based in Stamford, Connecticut. The company started with mouth-blown Bohemian glass and grew into a full table: ceramic dinnerware, serveware, glassware and linens, all drawn from European craft traditions and made to be used every day rather than saved for holidays. The designs are warm and a little rustic, meant for a crowded table rather than a formal one.
Hamilton Home stocks the patterns people build on. Berry & Thread, in whitewash, is the one most often started as a wedding registry and added to over the years, from dinner plates to the deviled egg platter, the cheese knives and the Christmas tree cookie jar. Country Estate, with its painted scenes of an English manor, comes in Delft blue for the year and Winter Frolic for December. Puro offers a plain, stackable alternative, and Forest Walk and the Clever Creatures salt and pepper sets bring in animals and woodland motifs. It is a natural choice for a housewarming, a hostess gift or a holiday table.
The patterns are on display in Princeton and Palm Beach, set out so you can see how they mix. Book an appointment and our team will help you plan a table, register for a pattern, or pick a serving piece for a host. Every order is gift wrapped.
