Centennial Collection at Hamilton Jewelers
The Centennial Collection was introduced in 2012 to mark Hamilton's 100th anniversary, and it is a single idea done carefully: the solitaire. The band is sculpted and tapers toward the head, the setting is made by hand, and split prongs hold the diamond with less metal showing. A small signature diamond is set inside the band where only the wearer knows it is there. Each ring is made in the Princeton workshop, and the setting is finished by hand so the prongs sit evenly around the stone.
Hamilton makes the Centennial Solitaire in platinum and in 18k yellow, white, and rose gold. The mounting shown is made for a round brilliant diamond, and the setting can be made to cradle other shapes. Because it is a mounting, the center diamond is chosen separately, which lets the budget go to the stone. It suits someone who wants the diamond to do all the talking and who will stack a band against it later. The tapered band also allows a wedding band to sit flush without a gap. Because the design is simple, it suits any diamond shape and any size, from a half carat to several carats.
See the Centennial Solitaire in person in Princeton or Palm Beach, or book an appointment and we will pair mountings with loose diamonds. Gift wrapping is included on every order, and our team can help you choose. Our team can set a family diamond in a Centennial mounting as well.
