Cherish Collection at Hamilton Jewelers
The Cherish Collection is Hamilton's classic engagement ring. Each head is made by hand with fine double prongs, which hold the diamond more securely than single prongs and let more light into the stone. The center diamonds are natural and responsibly sourced, in round brilliant or cushion cuts, and most come with a GIA report. The collection was designed in Princeton and each head is made and set by hand in the Hamilton workshop.
Hamilton offers four shank styles: a plain solitaire, micro-prong set diamonds, channel-set diamonds, and a milgrain bead-set band. Each is made in 18k white gold, with rose gold and platinum versions of some styles. Rings are sold complete with center diamonds from 0.50 to over 2 carats, and also as mountings for a diamond you select. The collection suits someone who wants a traditional ring that will still look right in thirty years. The micro-prong and channel-set bands carry 12 to 14 small round diamonds along the shank, and the milgrain band sets ten diamonds inside a beaded edge. Each style can be matched with a Hamilton wedding band, and a ring bought as a mounting can be set with a diamond from Hamilton's inventory or one you already own.
