TAG Heuer at Hamilton Jewelers
TAG Heuer began as Uhrenmanufaktur Heuer, founded by Edouard Heuer in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, in 1860. The company built its reputation on timing: the oscillating pinion of 1887 that still appears in chronograph movements, the Mikrograph of 1916 that measured to a hundredth of a second, and dashboard timers for racing cars and aircraft. Jack Heuer's Carrera of 1963 and the square Monaco of 1969 tied the brand to motorsport for good. TAG Heuer has been part of the LVMH group since 1999 and remains the house most associated with racing chronographs.
Hamilton carries TAG Heuer's core collections. The Carrera is here in chronograph and three-hand automatic forms, including the Chronograph Sport in 42 millimeters, with cases from 28 to 44 millimeters. The Aquaracer dive watch runs from 30 to 43 millimeters in quartz, automatic and Solargraph versions, and the Aquaracer Professional 200 and 300 lines cover serious water use. The Formula 1 and Link round out the range. TAG Heuer suits a first good Swiss watch as well as a dedicated chronograph for someone who follows racing.
Case size and bracelet fit matter with a sports watch, so it is worth trying a few. Every order is gift wrapped, and we can help you choose between collections if you are buying as a gift.
