Religious Jewelry at Hamilton Jewelers
Religious jewelry is bought for the moments a family marks together: a baptism, a first communion, a confirmation, a bar or bat mitzvah, a graduation, or a long trip. It is meant to be worn daily and passed down, so the metal and the making matter more than usual. Hamilton has made and sold religious jewelry in Princeton since 1912, and the medals and crosses here are the ones families come back for generation after generation.
Hamilton's selection centers on its own St. Christopher medal, made in the Princeton workshop in sterling silver and in colored enamel, with sizes from extra small to large and a 14k gold version with chain. Cross pendants include a plain polished 14k yellow gold cross on an 18 inch chain and petite crosses for children. There is a 14k yellow gold Star of David pendant and a guardian angel pendant in royal blue enamel. Most pieces are sized to be worn close to the neck and can be layered with a longer chain. Diamond-set crosses in 18k gold and gemstone crosses in sapphire or ruby come through the salons regularly and can be requested. For children's crosses, see the kids' jewelry page.
Visit Princeton or Palm Beach to see the medals and crosses together, or book an appointment. Gift wrapping is included on every order, and our team can help you choose. Engraving a date or initials on the back is done in our Princeton workshop.
